Information

Taormina can be reached from Catania or from Messina by a super highway, by train (Giardini-Naxos' station), by plane (Catania airport is 60 Km distant).
Taormina, so called jewel of Sicily, is the ideal centre to do some excursion, in order to admire the artistic and natural beauties of Eastern Sicily: in the same area there are: Castelmola, Naxos and the Alcantara's Gorges, more distant are Messina and the Eolian Islands, while nearby Catania there are: Etna Mountain, the baroque Acireale with the beautiful Timpa, and of course Catania and Siracusa.
