A small section is dedicated to the anthropomorphous ceramics, handicrafts works mainly made in the shops of Caltagirone (Catania), but also coming from Collesano (Palermo), Patti (Messina) and from Seminara (Reggio Calabria). Numerous are the garden vases which represent male or female faces. The need to plastically represent the human figure in the decoration of common containers dates back to the Greek culture; there are a lot of connections between these manufactured articles and the vase production of the classic and hellenistic age found during archaeological excavations in fact, particularly in the excavations of Centuripe (Catania).
By the southern wall of the Saloon there are exposed some domestic furnitures both referable to cultured and popular environments and two chairs with the backs engraved after the manner of the shepherds.
